No this isn't about the 5-minute rule, Although, I do subscribe to it. For those of you who don't know, the rule is: if it takes less than 5-minutes to do then do it. I have wanted to increase my workout at the gym, but wasn't doing it. Why? I had in my head to add to all of it which might amount to 20 minutes. That's a lot. So, I pared it down and added just 5-minutes to my time on the aerobic machine. Those extra five minutes aren't much time, but enough to make me fell like, I'm moving in the right direction with getting healthier. Maybe by summer's end, I'll add 5 more to my weight routine. And I still won't feel like I have cut into my work time.
